Located in the heart of adobe land, yet originating in New York City, it’s no surprise that Pfeifer Studio is influenced by traditional adobe with a modern twist. One trend true to Pfeifer Studio is
New Mexico Modern, which encompasses a collection of Pfeifer Finds and original furniture designs inspired by the rich texture of adobe contrasting against the rough surface of sun dried woods. With the influence of Spain ever present, one can’t help but notice how artist from the east brings a modern perspective to a land steeped in history.
When we typically think of adobe, often the first thing that comes to mind is a building made of clay walls. But, traditional adobe architecture encompasses so much more.
