We are excited to introduce a new collection of handmade jewelry designs created exclusively for Pfeifer Studio by Ethiopian-American artist Rahel Fikre-Selassie. Of the collection she says "When I am creative, making jewelry, drawing or painting, I enter a space, a mind set that allows me to be here but also somewhere else. Here is the United States and somewhere else is my homeland, Ethiopia. I believe the best way to exist is to find a balance, a fusion between these two very different cultures, to find a way so they are not in conflict and to minimize any contradiction. My jewelry is an expression of my search for a balance. I hope that whoever wears them will also feel a sense of being transported to another space, with it's own language and culture."
