”Lonny

You’ve probably heard of the shelter magazine called Domino that sadly left the market a few years ago. But please don’t cry, because if you haven’t checked out Lonny Magazine, you’ll be so very glad you did. Oh, and don’t worry if you feel like a traitor, because not only is it online…for free!…but Michelle Adams, Editor in Chief, used to work for Domino. Lonny Magazine is all the rage, and we wanted to make sure you are in the know.

Michelle knew that a market existed for people seeking affordable decorating tips, ideas and products, so she teamed up with friend and professional photographer Patrick Cline to create Lonny. And, if you’re wondering how the Lonny name came to be…Lon (London) + NY (New York) = LONNY. Yep, that’s pretty clever!

When I first stumbled upon Lonny, the room I fell in love with that started my whole obsession was designed by Brad Ford in the Lonny Dec09/Jan10 issue,
pages 150-151.

Do you notice anything interesting about it? We happen to think that it’s so very cool and Pfeiferesque with its mix of mid-century and natural elements, both in color and material.

”Get The Lonny Look

If you are inspired by this room but don’t know how to get the look, I thought it would be fun to pull together some items from the Pfeifer Studio collection that would be right at home in this gorgeous New York apartment.
